As a writer and producer, Laura has worked with the world’s top television networks and production companies, including National Geographic Television, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Smithsonian Channel, A&E and PBS.
Her talent for storytelling combined with over 10 years of production experience brings ideas alive. Her creative vision molds a simple idea into a dramatic story.
As a development producer, she sees the story arch. She pinpoints new angles, finds real and unique characters, builds strong relationships, navigates complex access issues, and lays the foundation for a truly one of a kind – and realistic – show.
As a scriptwriter and post-producer, she weaves concise writing and powerful interview bites to enhance the on-screen story, while establishing a perfectly crafted tone. Dynamic openings, surprising teases and rewarding payoffs only heighten the drama and suspense.
A former employee of the National Geographic Channel, she set out on her own in 2004. Since then, Laura has helped mold everything from ongoing series to award-winning one-offs.
